In terms of its look and feel, IHOP is a family-oriented restaurant chain that features a slightly different design in every project. Challenges might arise based on the environment. In the past, Havelock One oversaw a project implementation in a standalone location that previously hosted a different F&B brand, however, was structurally not equipped to cater to the needs of a fast-paced diner restaurant. The mezzanine floor featured a very low ceiling, which created the need to coordinate MEP services and install AC system units as well as an extract fan outside of the premises. The subsequent need for a much higher power supply had to be approved and catered for by local authorities.
